Helping skiers achieve their best performance not only involves instruction and athletic conditioning, but proper alignment of the ski boot to the leg, and a level ski on the snow. Without a level ski, the skier is constantly handicapped in his or her ability to initiate a good carved turn. The carved turn is the essence of athletic skiing and is fundamental to the ultimate enjoyment of the sport.
If the ski boot is not properly aligned with the leg, the ski will tend to line up with the leg itself. This usually results in the ski being tilted one way or the other. If the ski is tipped to the outside, the skier will have to transfer the knee too far into the hill to set the edge of the downhill ski. If the skier is on the inside edge too much, turning becomes a problem as it is difficult to easily shift weight from one ski to the next quickly, thus causing loss of edge control.

When necessary, we work in conjunction with a qualified technician at a ski shop to ensure appropriate canting and boot adjustment.
Only when this comprehensive approach is completed can the skier finally ski to full potential and begin to enjoy the sport to the fullest. Our knowledge of foot mechanics combined with our understanding of ski technique is unique. These skills enable us to achieve a high degree of perfection towards balancing the skiers own skills and enhancing his or her overall performance.
