People in Great Falls are taking their messages about abortion to the streets.
A group affiliated with the "40 Days For Life" campaign has been protesting abortion outside the Planned Parenthood building since the beginning of Lent, and now another group has sprung up across the street.
The new group says they aren't protesting the "40 Days For Life" campaign, but merely showing their support for Planned Parenthood.
Melissa Barcroft said, "What we really want to support is safe sex, planned pregnancies, contraceptives and real sex ed. Because we feel like abstinence-only education really isn't relevant to today's world and that people need to be educated to prevent unplanned pregnancies which is the real cause for abortion."
Don Miller noted, "I feel that life begins before birth and we need to protect babies in the womb. And I realize it's controversial...but I think it's right."
The two groups say they are keeping their actions civil and have been able to have an open dialogue about their opinions.
