Belgrade teen Lane Leo Noakes reported missing

Police are asking for help finding Lane Leo Noakes, a Belgrade teen who has been missing for several weeks.

On July 12th, Noakes, 16 years old, was reported missing by his father, who said Lane left his home on July 3rd and was supposed to be staying with a friend in Livingston until July 4th; Lane did not return home.

A friend of the family reported possibly seeing Noakes at the "Rainbow Family" gathering in Jackson, Montana, several days later.

Lane has not been in contact with his family since then.

His family has created a "Looking For Lane" page on Facebook.

A man called Gallatin County dispatch on Wednesday claiming to have seen Lane at a convenience store in Washington; the caller hung up before dispatchers could get a location or return phone number.

Lane is described as a white male with medium length hair and green eyes. He is 5′ 10″ tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. He has piercings in both ears and in his bottom lip. He has scars on his forearms and is believed to be wearing jeans, a T-shirt, a red or black hooded sweatshirt and possibly a headband.

The Belgrade Police Department is looking for information from anyone who may know Lane's whereabouts.

He has been entered as a missing person and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has been notified.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Belgrade Police Department at 406-388-4262, or their local law enforcement agency.
