GREAT FALLS - Boy Scouts across Montana will kick off their annual popcorn sale on Saturday, September 28th.
A press release from spokeswoman Mary Matelich says that popcorn sales provide the opportunity for Scouts to earn money for service projects, camp, leadership training, and pinewood derbies.
Scouts will be going door to door taking orders for the popcorn.
Online sales are also available at montanabsa.org.
Matelich says that new flavors this year are dark and white chocolatey drizzle and buffalo cheddar cheese.
"Last year, over $86,920 worth of popcorn was purchased by generous Montanans for active duty servicemen and women around the world," said Kerry Ketchum, Montana Council popcorn chairwoman.
