Josh Heustis put on a third quarter clinic with blocks, steals, rebounds and a follow dunk. He left the game with 4:42 left after picking up his fourth foul. He finished with 12 points. Jordan Harper led CMR with 15.
Brian Muller was West's leading scorer with 15, but the Bears never looked comfortable suffering one of their lowest point totals of the season. West drew to within 7 in the second quarter, but CMR answered that with an 8-0 run to close the half, including a buzzer-beating breakaway layup by Payton Skawinski.
23 points in the half were also one of West's lowest totals of the season. The Bears finished only 4 of 26 in three-point shooting.
