Emergency crews are on the scene of a reported one-vehicle rollover in Great Falls.
It was reported at about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Giant Springs Road and River Drive North.
We do not yet know if any one has been injured.
Traffic in both directions is said to be backed up.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible until the scene is cleared.
Reporter Claire Anderson is on her way to the scene; we will update you as we learn more.
UPDATE, 5:30 pm: One person has been taken to Benefis hospital; the nature and extent of the person's injuries is not yet known.
UPDATE, 9:30 pm: Police tell us an elderly woman is expected to recover after surviving a rollover on River Drive North in Great Falls on Tuesday evening.
The crash happened at the intersection of Giant Springs Road and River Drive North at about 4:30 p.m.
Police say the woman pulled out in front of a truck, and her vehicle rolled when the two vehicle collided.
We're told no one in the truck was injured , but the woman had to be extricated from her car.
She was taken by ambulance to Benefis hospital and officers say she should be okay.
River Drive was shut down from 25th Street to 38th for about an hour.
