April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month, and the Dandelion Foundation of Great Falls will host a rally in Black Eagle on Sunday, April 22nd, to help promote awareness and prevention.
The event will be from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the Black Eagle Community Center located at 2332 Smelter Avenue NE.
Organizers say that it will a fun and friendly environment for kids and families; the Fun Zone has donated their time and equipment to set up a bounce house and airbrush tatoos for kids.
There will also be guest speakers who address abuse and its effects, educational information and resources, and sky lanterns and candles to remember the children in our community who have suffered abuse.
Each person that attends will recieve a numbered ticket and prizes will be randomly given away; among the prizes are a 42" flat screen TV and two cash prizes.
Admission is free.
