On Tuesday morning, Jess Secrest, the Public Information Officer reports the Davis Fire has burned 8 outbuildings.

He says these aren't residences, but specifics into what the structures are is still unknown.

Secrest reports the fire is smoldering at 2,015 acres and is now at 50% containment, and that 466 personnel are working the fire.

Secrest says Monday's cloud cover grounded heli-attack crews, but he hopes to get them back in the air Tuesday.
