Great Falls High School is gearing up for changes, as a facilities task force has been meeting for more than a year to figure out a plan to enhance the building, especially when it comes to heating efficiency and airflow, as well as updating classrooms for 21st century technology, all while restoring the school's historical charm.
On Thursday, October 25, members of the task force will offer community tours pointing out the biggest problems in the school as well as potential solutions.
A few of the big issues include power outlets in classrooms, ventilation, and improved lighting and windows.
The hope for these meetings is to create a solid plan to present to the city and other organizations to receive funding to complete these updates.
The tours are Thursday at Great Falls High at 5 pm and 6 pm.
