Haiti relief efforts are now extending to the basketball court, as faculty members at Great Falls High School will be hitting the hardwood to battle against the students.

Both sides selected teams over the last month and are now ready to take the court.

English teacher Jerry Hopkins said, "It will definitely be a fun time, students versus faculty is always a fun time, but we really just want to raise money for Haiti relief. It's just a buck, not very much to come out and support Great falls High, and more importantly support the Haitian relief as well."

As far as predictions, Hopkins was confident: "The faculty will definitely win - I'm pretty sure they will probably win hands-down and have a pretty easy time with the kids."

The game will tip off Wednesday night at 5:00 p.m. in the Great Falls High School old gym. Admission is one dollar at the door.

Where did the students and faculty come up with this bright idea?  Couldn't they think of a local charity or nonprofit organization that I am sure could use a helping hand?  When are we going to stop sending money to Haiti, maybe when their president gets his golden palace? Look at all the corruption and the dismal judicial system.  I would bet that alot of money being sent over to Haiti is going to be the corrupt government officials.  Just read this article posted by REUTERS.
