Procraft CARSTAR in Great Falls presented a "new" used vehicle to Sarah Jane Lattin and her two small children during a a ceremony on Monday morning.
Lattin served four years active duty at Malmstrom Air Force Base and has been a member of the Montana Air National Guard for two years, and is the mother of two small children.
In her application to Charity Cars, which helps families obtain reliable transportation, Lattin stated, "I am trying to find a car so that I can get a job without needing to get a ride or borrow an unreliable car. A Charity Car would not only benefit me, but it will benefit my little family too."
This is Procraft CARSTAR's first year participating in the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program.
State Farm Insurance donated the 2001 Honda CRV vehicle, and several Great Falls organizations donated materials and time to help renovate the vehicle.
Steve Howard, owner of ProCraft CARSTAR, said, "We are exceptionally pleased with the results of the project. I want to thank our staff as well as all who made contributions. Without them, reaching this exciting moment would not have been possible."
