Amidst greater demand for service, the Great Falls Rescue Mission is putting out a call for some kitchen help.
Right now the Rescue Mission has two ovens, but in order to get through Thanksgiving and Christmas, they need another oven.
Doug Dolan, the lead cook at the Rescue Mission, said, "A year ago we saw 40 people for lunch, now we're seeing 80."
They found a deal on a convection oven from a retailer in New Jersey but it will cost $2,400.
The Rescue Mission has launched a creative campaign in conjunction with local golf courses; golfers are encouraged to donate money for every birdie they get in order to help the mission cook all the birds they need on Thanksgiving.
