The Montana Grizzlies can't wait to start running in another season, and they took care of another step earlier this week.

The team voted three seniors into captain positions: quarterback Andrew Selle, running back Chase Reynolds, and defensive tackle Tyler Hobbs will serve as leaders this year.

But Griz fans won't know much about the rest of the team and even head coach Robin Pflugrad is still trying to figure it out.

"We're going to have 14, 15 or 16 new faces out there come Saturday, depending on what offensive formation we open the game with," said Pflugrad. "We have some new uniforms. I'm excited about that. And I'm very excited that they have names on the back of those uniforms, because I don't know if I'm going to know everybody out there because there's so many new faces."

Montana kicks off the season Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Washington-Grizzly Stadium, hosting Division II Western State College (0-1), which features an odd 3-3-5 defense. The game will be televised on the CW Montana.
