H1N1 clinic held in Billings

Posted: Dec 9, 2009 2:30 PM

Tuesday was another day of short lines and a short wait today at the seventh H1N1 walk-in clinic in Billings.

RiverStone Health hosted another H1N1 vaccine clinic for people in the priority group and about 1,200 doses were available, and a little more than two-hundred were given out.

Spokeswoman Barbara Schneeman believes the cold weather played a role in the small turnout.
At this point, RiverStone is waiting on the Centers for Disease Control to give guidance on when it can offer the vaccine to more people in our area.
