H1N1 clinic to be held in Butte

Butte-Silver Bow Health Department will be holding a public H1N1 vaccine clinic Friday, Dec. 11.

The clinic will run from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at East Middle School cafeteria. It is open to anyone six months and older.

The injection and the nasal mist will be available. There are restrictions on who may receive the nasal mist. Individuals must be two to 49 years of age and in good health, not pregnant or breast feeding, no lung disease, heart disease, weakened immune system, diabetes or live with anyone who is immune compromised.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 14, walk-ins for both the seasonal (regular) flu vaccine and the H1N1 vaccine will be available at the health department at 25 West Front. The entrance is on the back of the building.  Please call the health department beginning Monday, De. 14 at 497-5020 for walk-in hours.
