Here's a list of Halloween and autumn/harvest-fest events in and around our community; if you have one to add, email the information to email@example.com; be sure to include date(s), location, phone number, and any other details. We will update as we get word of additional events.
From Christine Sheldon: Sparkettes of Montana haunted house opens on Friday, October 12, at 7 p.m. Will also be open on the following dates: 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31. We also have Halloween Town for the little kids that is a "scare-free" zone. Bring a can of food to get in for less or go to Party America; if you buy your Halloween costume from them you get a discount to get into the haunted house. The haunted house is in the "beef barn" at the Montana ExpoPark. Hours are 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. On October 29th and October 30th they are open from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m.
From Lecia Kelly: Chouteau County Sheriff's Office is hosting their 4th annual haunted house called "The Circus of Fear." They will be hosting this scary and fun event on Saturday, October 27th from 5-10 pm and Wednesday, October 31st from 5-10 pm. A can of food or a donation gets you in the door. They will have chili and hot chocolate or coffee on Wednesday for a donation. If you want to help decorate and participate, please call Lecia Kelly, Mary Kassmier, or Pat Ayers, or call the Sheriff's Office at 622-5451 and we will put your name down.

From Michelle Heberle: We will be doing tours of the Lobby Bar/Davenport Hotel on Saturday Oct 27th from 6 pm to 2 am. $5 plus a can of food for the food bank. Learn the haunted history of the Lobby Bar and Davenport Hotel. Facebook page.

From Carrie Hill Parker: Dandelion Foundation's second annual Halloween Party at the Civic Center, on Saturday, October 27th, starting at 4:00. There will be a costume contest for kids with prizes, live music, and food, fun, and games.
North Star Horsemanship is holding their 2nd annual Trick or Treat Spooktacular. Bring your children trick or treating where it is safe and indoors. There will be safe trick or treating, games, facepainting, and pony rides. Decorations will be kid friendly and not scary. It will be held on Saturday, October 27, from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at the K Stables located at 332 Wilson Butte. Directions: Driving on Lower River Rd, turn right onto Wilson Butte; barn and arena are located approximately 3-3.5 miles down Wilson Butte on the left. The University of Great Falls will be celebrating the holiday with a fun mix of Halloween-themed music. "Creepy Cabaret," directed by Sarah Raines and accompanied by Lana Fisher, will take place on October 23rd at 7:00 pm in the UGF Theater. Featured songs will include "The Addams Family," "Grim Grinning Ghosts," the "Oogie Boogie Song" and more. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 406-791-5294.
From Carrie Sullivan Escobedo: Kids Funtastic Fall Fest at the Four Seasons Arena, Oct 31 at 6 pm: Free Carnival for the Whole Family; Games, Candy, Jumpers, Petting Zoo; Donations of non-perishable food items accepted at the door for the Great Falls Food Bank.
