Players weren't the only ones putting their skills to the test in Medicine Hat - here's a look at Havre umpire Tony Vigliotti as he explains why he loves what he does.
Here is some what Tony said:
"You know what, I think you just do it, I don't know if you practice it or what. Some guys do, I don't, it just came naturally."
"Anytime you can be around the kids and all the coaches, it's great, they're all fun to do."
"You talk to them a little bit, you want them to stay loose and have a good time and that way everything goes smooth."
"No matter what you do 50% are mad at you and 50% aren't so they're biased, it's their son, so no it doesn't bother me."
"Sometimes when you're out in the field you don't do much but home plate you're in every pitch so you have to stay on top of your game and you're in the game the whole game."
"Every year I think, boy I don't know if I want to do this anymore but then you get up here, you get with these umpires and these kids that put it all out every day...."
"I guess I'll probably keep doing it, they might have to drag me off the field probably.">
