Billy Lee Henderson, charged with breaking in to Pro Build on Saturday, made his initial appearance in a Great Falls courtroom on Tuesday.
Henderson, 21, faces a felony burglary charge.
A silent alarm led police to the store Saturday night, where they discovered Henderson allegedly stacking items near a door.
A K-9 unit was sent to apprehend him after he refused to cooperate with officers. Henderson was transported to the hospital for injuries to his arm.
He's charged with trying to steal more than $2,200 in property and causing an estimated $300 in damage.
Bail for Henderson was set at $10,000.
