- Mission Thanksgiving: Scores of people looking for a warm meal and good company are spending Thanksgiving at the Great Falls Rescue Mission. Nearly 200 people stopped by the Mission to give thanks and enjoy a traditional meal, complete with pumpkin pie. Preparations for the meal began early this morning, and many were happy to see the faces of volunteers young and old and celebrate this meaningful holiday together.

- Mission Changes: The Great Falls Rescue Mission has adapted to societal and cultural changes since it was founded in 1963, including welcoming women and families, and adapting to a younger overall demographic for its' services.

- Adoption Thanks: November serves as National Adoption Month, and among the people who are giving thanks for adoption is the Gregory family of Great Falls.

- Black...Thursday? A number of stores in Great Falls will be opening early - very early - for Black Friday. Sears, K-Mart, and Walmart will open at 8 p.m, and Target and Shopko will open up at 9 pm. Holiday Village Mall will open its doors at midnight as some stores will open to welcome bargain-seeking shoppers. Beginning at midnight, the first 200 shoppers at the mall can get a free cup of coffee at Amy's Morning Perk, located on the upper level next to GNC, while supplies last.
