KRTV is proud to be part of the community in Great Falls and across north-central Montana, and happy to be able to offer you the latest news in many ways.
The newest tool for you to stay up to date on what's happening: the KRTV News iPad App, which was just released this week; you can find it in the Apple App Store.
Here are some screenshots from our director Steve's iPad.
Other ways to stay informed: of course, you can always watch our newscasts: Montana This Morning, weekdays from 5:30 a.m. until 7 a.m.; the Noon newscast, Monday through Friday; the 5:30 evening newscast, seven days a week; and the 10 o'clock newscast, seven days a week.
You can also watch the Monday-Friday newscasts of Montana This Morning from 5:30 am to 7 am, and the 5:30 Evening News, streaming live on your computer at http://www.krtv.com/pages/live-stream/.
If you're on the road during the 5:30 pm newscast, you can listen to the simulcast on radio stations KINX 102.7 FM or KMON 560 AM.
And you can always check out the latest news right here at KRTV.com, where the news and video is always free - no monthly subscription fees, no "subscribe to read more" teases, and no limits on the number of clicks or page views.
You can also find KRTV on Facebook at www.facebook.com/krtv3, and get continuous news updates, breaking news alerts, and online extras, all delivered right to your Facebook stream. We are very proud to be the #1 social media source of news for north-central Montana!
Don't forget Twitter - all of our news is posted to Twitter @krtv so that you can know what's happening as soon as we do.
And KRTV is mobile: with the recent debut of KRTV Continuous News Apps for both the iPhone and for Android-based phones. To get the KRTV app, just visit the Android Market or the Apple App Store on your device, do a search for KRTV, and then download/install the app.
We've also recently upgraded the standard KRTV mobile app, available on most phones.
The bottom line: whenever, wherever you need to know what's going on - KRTV has you covered.
And we very much appreciate that it's a two-way street: we keep you informed, and you keep us informed! Sharing news tips with us on our Facebook page, posting pictures of breaking news in our Photo Gallery or emailing them to us - helping us to keep others informed.
A perfect example is the wind storms that rocked the region a few weeks ago - you helped us tell folks where power lines were down, what traffic signals were out, sharing pictures of storm damage. We thank all of our KRTV friends for being part of our community!
Thanks for being part of the KRTV community.
