Marcus Lee is in custody after reportedly pulling a gun on his neighbor during an argument on 52nd Street South on the east side of Great Falls early on Thursday morning.
Lee, 22, is facing two counts of assault with a weapon, one count of criminal mischief, and one charge of misdemeanor assault.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of a disturbance and a man with a weapon.
When officers arrived, they found two men wrestling over a rifle.
Marcus refused to cooperate, and officers had to carry him to their patrol vehicle.
Initial reports indicate that the man asked Lee to slow down and stop spinning gravel in the alley behind his home sometime late last night or early in the morning, and Marcus allegedly began calling him racist names, pushed him, and then left.
Sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., the man's wife caught Lee taping a note to their front door in which Lee threatened to kill the family.
The person also reported Lee throwing rocks at their pickup truck.
Two neighbors then went to speak to Lee's mother, then heard Lee in backyard and saw Lee with a rifle pointed toward ground.
The man reportedly then tackled Lee and was attempting to take the rifle away from him.
