Lopez charged with rape in Great Falls

Jordan Lopez has been charged in Great Falls with sexual intercourse without consent, a felony.

A woman told police that that the two of them went out drinking together several days ago, and she woke up to Lopez raping her the next morning.

When contacted by authorities, the woman had an injury to her face and was in "obvious distress."

When the police went to arrest Lopez, he hid from them; after obtaining a warrant, police found him in the attic of a residence on 5th Street South, where he allegedly began fighting with the officers, requiring them to don "spit hoods."

Lopez reportedly yelled "What are you arresting me for? Rape?" although none of the officers had yet mentioned that to him.

Earlier in the evening, Lopez had reportedly told another person that he was going to jail for rape.
