Roosevelt County Sheriff Freedom Crawford announced on Friday night that Charles Bowman Bowen, a 46 year old Florida man, has been arrested and charged with negligent homicide in the death of Brian Doyle.
Doyle's body was found in the ditch along US Highway 2 near the town of Bainville, east of Culbertson, on January 20.
Authorities investigating Doyle's death determined that he died after being ran over by a motor vehicle.
On January 27, an arrest warrant from the 15th Judicial District Court of Montana was issued, charging Bowen with negligent homicide.
Bowen was arrested that same day in the Williston, North Dakota, area by the Williams County Sheriff's Office.
Bowen is currently being held in the Williams County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond, pending extradition back to Montana.

(January 25, 2012) Roosevelt County Sheriff Freedom Crawford has identified the man who was found dead in a ditch along US Highway 2 near Bainville on Friday as Brian Doyle of Florida.
In a press release, Sheriff Crawford says that until approximately two weeks ago, Doyle, 49 years old, had worked for an oil field maintenance company out of North Dakota.
Crawford said that foul play has not been ruled out in the investigation into Doyle's death.
Authorities are setting up a tip line at RCSO17.org for any tips or information about Doyle's death.

(January 20, 2012) A body has been found along Highway 2 near Bainville on the Montana Hi-Line, east of Culbertson.
Roosevelt County Sheriff Freedom Crawford told Montana's News Station that the body is male and was found in a ditch along the highway.
The identity of the body has not yet been released, and authorities have not yet said how long it appears to have been in the ditch.
Crawford tells us he that and his deputies are waiting for investigators from the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation to arrive from Helena and Billings before continuing the investigation or releasing more details about the death.
KRTV friend Brian Dains tells us that several law enforcement vehicles and officers were at the scene on Friday afternoon, located about a mile west of where a train derailed earlier this week.
