Man hit by vehicle in Great Falls remains in hospital

A man is still still recovering at Benefis hospital in Great Falls after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday evening.

The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Avenue South and 13th Street.

Great Falls police tell us that preliminary results of their investigation indicate that the incident was caused by "pedestrian error."

No citatations have been issued at this point.

The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

(February 19, 2012) A reported vehicle versus pedestrian accident has sent one man to Benefis hospital in Great Falls.

The accident happened just before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 10th Avenue South and 13th Street.

The man was taken to Benefis via ambulance.

As of 9:00 p.m, officers were still at the hospital with the victim.

The man's name has not been released.

Details are still unclear as to how the accident happened.
