GREAT FALLS - Great Falls police officers are on the scene of a reported meth bust.
The home is located on the 800 block of 7th Avenue South.
We have a reporter at the scene and will update you as we get more information.
(UPDATE, 5:25 pm) The Russell Country Drug Task Force busted a reported meth house on 7th Avenue South on Friday afternoon and found one primary suspect in the home, Gage Musson, and took him into custody.
A police officer tells us that Musson is likely to be charged with operation of clandestine laboratory.
Officers found a backpack filled with ingredients that can be used for making meth.
They evacuated and examined the ingredients and the bag outside.
They also found syringes and other paraphanelia used for taking the drug.
Sergeant Chris Hickman says it could take them 6 to 12 hours to investigate this evening: "At this point, we don't know whether manufacturing is actually taking place in the home, and that's part of the element of this search and assessment, so we're just in the early stages right now."
Sergeant Hickman says this isn't the first time the house has been investigated for methamphetamine.
