The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of central and northeast Montana for Saturday and into Sunday.
This comes as portions of northeast Montana have been rocked by a deadly tornado and severe thunderstorms within the last several days.
The NWS says that strong to severe thunderstorms may develop over central Montana and move through northeast Montana on Saturday, possibly causing heavy rainfall, damaging winds, frequent lightning, and large hail.
The NWS reports that the following counties are included in the outlook: Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt, Petroleum, Garfield, McCone, Richland, Dawson, Prairie, Wibaux.
