Gold-medal Olympian and soccer star Abby Wambach participated in a soccer clinic for kids in Great Falls over the weekend.

Helping to promote its values of health and wellness, Get Fit Great Falls hosted the clinic for hundreds of kids.

Wambach and a group of more than 130 volunteers made up of Malmstrom airmen, high school and college soccer players, and soccer coaches shared their talents with the kids.

Averyl LaSalle, a soccer player for the University of Great Falls, noted, "I love little kids, I love Abby Wambach so I decided might as well do it. So much fun, plus you get to play soccer and you get to teach the little kids who are just starting out, or who have been playing for a few years more things to do or to love soccer."

Wambach will take a ride in an F-15 fighter jet on Tuesday, courtesy of the Montana Air National Guard.
