Severe weather hit northeastern Montana on Monday afternoon, spawning at least one tornado.
The tornado was observed just before 5 p.m. in Roosevelt County north of Wolf Point.
Richard Knowlton shared these photos with us.
There are no reports at this time of any injuries or damaged buildings or structures.
The strength and size of the Roosevelt County tornado or tornadoes is not yet known; we expect the National Weather Service to survey the area and provide a report within the next several days.
Last Monday, at least two tornadoes touched down in eastern Montana; no injuries were reported and damage was minimal (click here to read more)
