Powerful winds cause damage across region

Powerful winds have caused damage and left many without power in some areas of north-central Montana and along the Rocky Mountain Front.

In Choteau, resident Julie Brantley report that there is much wind damage, including roofs being blown off some buildings, windows smashed at some businesses, hay bales being blown around, and at least one vehicle windshield destroyed by a tree branch.

Other areas with reported wind damage include Babb, Valier, and Vaughn.

A High Wind Warning remains in effect for much of the region until 5 pm on Sunday.
