Sunshine will return today as high pressure builds over the state.

After a cold start this morning, temperatures will rebound into the lower 40s this afternoon. It will be breezy at times with southwesterly winds gusting up to 30 mph.

Mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures will continue on Thursday with highs once again in the lower 40s.

A cold front and associated upper level disturbance will move through on Friday bringing snow and colder temperatures. Computer models have been trending stronger with this system over the past couple of days.

Right now, the snow looks to be light with a couple inches possible at lower elevations and slightly heavier amounts in the mountains.

A few snow showers will linger into Saturday morning but the rest of the weekend is looking good with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
