Charles Bowen, charged with negligent homicide in the death of Brian Doyle near Bainville in NE Montana, has waived his right to fight extradition back to Montana.
Bowen appeared in Williams County, North Dakota, District Court on Monday afternoon.
Bowen has been in jail since January 27 after being arrested in the North Dakota oil fields. Both Bowen and the victim, Brian Doyle, worked in the oil fields. They are also both from Florida.
Investigators say Doyle died after being run over by a vehicle, which authorities believe Bowen was driving.
Doyle's body was found January 20 in a ditch.
The Roosevelt County Attorney's Office has declined to comment on when Bowen will be brought back to Montana to face charges.
