The University of Great Falls Community Band will host a annual winter concert titled "A Portrait of American Music."

The concert will take place in the University of Great Falls Theater on February 12 at 3 pm at 1301 20th Street South.

Admission is free.

"A Portrait of American Music," directed by Bud Nicholls, will celebrate the American spirit in music, with selections ranging from marches to flute pieces paying tribute to historical moments in time.

In honor of Presidents Day, the Community Band will perform Post Bellum Rhapsody-1865, a piece composed in remembrance of the Civil War and honoring the achievements of former President Abraham Lincoln.
