Heavy snow will fall on parts of central Montana in the next 48 hours as winter makes a comeback.
Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for Cascade, Judith Basin and Meagher Counties for elevations above 6000 feet.
This warning is in effect until 5 a.m. Thursday and includes Kings Hill Pass.
10-15 inches of fresh snow are expected in the Little Belt and Big Belt Mountains.
Strong winds blowing through this area will also cause blowing snow, reducing visibilities below one quarter of a mile at times.
Winter Storm Warnings are also in effect for the Rocky Mountain Front and central/southern Lewis & Clark County until 5 a.m. Thursday.
This affects elevations above 5000 feet, including Marias Pass and Rogers Pass.
1-2 feet of snow are likely through Thursday morning.
White out conditions will be possible at times with very gusty winds, and some roads may become impassable.
Travelers should be prepared for extremely dangerous driving conditions.
