GREAT FALLS - Stacy Dawn Rattray has been charged with driving under the influence in Great Falls while two small children were in her car.
Great Falls police say that they were called to McDonald's on 10th Avenue South shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunday night where they found Rattray in her car in the drive-through lane, along with two children and an open container.
The police report says that Rattray had trouble finding her license, insurance, and registration, and she smelled of alcohol, was slurring her words, and swayed when standing.
Rattray admitted to drinking alcohol.
Also in the car were two girls, ages 4 and 2; Rattray told police that she was babysitting them, but could not remember the name of their mother.
A breathalyzer test of Rattray at the scene revealed a blood alcohol content of .277, more than three times the legal limit for operating a vehicle.
Rattray was taken to the Cascade County Detention Center and is scheduled to make her initial court appearance on Monday afternoon.
Rattray is facing a felony charge of driving under the influence, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, and driving with an open container.
Court documents state that Rattray already has three DUI convictions; one in 1991, one in 2007, and one in 2011.
Child-welfare officials were contacted to care for the children.
