A worker at the Montana Refining Company on Smelter Avenue in Great Falls was taken to Benefis hospital on Wednesday morning after an electrical incident.
A call came in just before 11 am that a worker had been electrocuted.
Great Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene.
Dispatchers told responders that refinery staff told them a refinery worker was found on the ground near electrical equipment.
The worker was treated on scene by Fire Rescue personnel and was then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The extent of the person's injuries is unknown.
The worker's name has not been released.
