The Great Falls Police Department says that Harrington was arrested at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, and that the charges relate to allegations of possession of child pornography.
Harrington is scheduled to appear in District Court on Thursday.

UPDATE: Court documents state that a special agent with the Department of Homeland Security, who is also a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, was conducting an investigation and traced several "known child pornography images" to a computer at a Great Falls residence.
After obtaining a search warrant, a Great Falls police officer went to the residence and spoke with the woman who lived there.
During a search of the residence, the woman asked, "Does this have anything to do with Talan?" The woman denied ever looking at pornography, but said that Harrington, her former fiance, had lived with her in the home at one time.
The court documents state that, "...she knew Talan had looked at pornography on her computer, but she believed what he had looked at was adult pornography."
The GFPD officer and DHS officer then went to Harrington's home; he invited the officers in, and admitted that he had used Frost Wire -- a file-sharing service -- to download two child pornography videos that featured children aged 7 and 8.
