This weekend, Great Falls Youth Lacrosse will host three boys varsity lacrosse games.
Great Falls Lacrosse president Kirk Fried said in a press release that all of the games will take place at Paris Gibson Education Center and are free to the public.
The Saturday schedule is as follows:
9:00 - 11:00 am Great Falls Fury vs Helena Huskies
1:00 - 3:00pm Helena Huskies vs Flathead
5:00 - 7:00pm Great Falls Fury vs Flathead
In addition the following games will take place in other towns in Montana:
- U11 boys will play two games in Bozeman vs Bozeman and Jackson starting at 10:30 am on Saturday
- Girls varsity will play two games in Missoula vs Spokane and Flathead starting at 10:30am on Saturday
- Boys varsity will play one game in Missoula vs Missoula at 10:00am on Sunday
Fried says that the sport is a combination of soccer, basketball, and hockey.
“My favorite part about lacrosse actually it's a super high energy fast-pace sport. Possessions can go back and forth. It's all about speed and agility. It's actually a pretty sport to watch. You'll see some amazing maneuvers and move from plays as they are moving up and down the field,” Fried said.
