HELENA -

The Helena School Board of Trustees is hosting an open house on Thursday where the public can meet with the four interim superintendent candidates.

The open will take place at the Montana School Boards Association building in the Great Northern Town Center beginning at 6 p.m.

Community members are invited to chat with the interim superintendent candidates and answer any questions.

The four candidates are Greg Upham, Keith Meyer, Lona Carter-Scanlon, and Jack Copps.

School Board Chair Aidan Myhre says the interim superintendent hiring process is meant to be as transparent as possible.

Myhre said, “So each of the candidates brings a very unique skill set to the district and what's important is the public has an opportunity to understand what those skill sets are, make comment, help us select the next successful interim superintendent."

The Helena School Board will interview each interim superintendent candidate beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday at the Ray Bjork Learning Center.
