Some may call them heroes, but for those that work in the emergency medical services field, they are just doing their jobs.
Chandler Wilkinson, a paramedic with Great Falls Emergency Services, said that the good days outweigh the bad.
"It's very rewarding, but it also is very exhausting, and it is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. You get to go to work almost every day and feel like you positively impacted someone's life," Wilkinson said.
GFES paramedic Julie Davis says at the end of the day, you are a part of a family that also helps each other out.
"The crew is one of the best parts of it. We are with each other during really stressful situations. I think that forms really strong bonds with people," Davis said.
