The 2016 Miss Montana Scholarship Pageant will be held in Glendive on June 9-11.
Eleven contestants will compete for the title, as well as scholarships and prizes.
The contestants are Savanah Leidholt from Miles City; Jessica Criss from Bozeman; Karalie Magnus, Missoula; Samantha Yates, Great Falls; Sierra Crandell, Kalispell; Abigail Helland, Glasgow; Alara Vogel, Havre; Julie Theis, Sidney; Alysse Charlesworth, Glendive; Toby Jeanne Almy, Miles City; and Lauren Scofield, Havre.
Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen will also be chosen during the event. The Teen contestants are Alexa Baisch of Glendive; Caroline Carey, Helena; Emily Kuehn, Glendive; Vanessa Van Vleet, Wibaux; Audrey Miller, Bozeman; Mary Elizabeth Royce, Corvallis; Sami Beeler, Glendive; Quinn Motichka, Polson; Faith Johnson, Helena; and Abby Hill of Glendive.

An official state preliminary program of the Miss America Organization, the Miss Montana Scholarship Program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities to young women to promote their voices in culture, politics and the community.
Never before competed in any National Finals of the Miss America Organization
Between the ages of 17 and 24 years
Must reside in the state of Montana -OR- be enrolled in and physically attend classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university in Montana
Be a citizen of the United States of America
Not now or have ever been married or a parent/pregnant
Have not been convicted of any criminal offenses and there are no currently pending
Good moral character
Do not use or consume any illegal substances or controlled substances or abuse the use of alcohol, prescription drugs or other dangerous substances
Be willing to represent the great State of Montana if you win the title
