Person hit by vehicle in Great Falls (update)

GREAT FALLS -

The person who was hit did not sustain life-threatening injuries, according to the Great Falls Police Department.

Authorities have not released the name of either person involved.

There is no word yet on whether the driver was at fault or will be cited.

We will update you if we get more information.


(1st Report, 8:19 a.m.) Emergency crews are at the scene of what has been reported as an incident involving a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

The incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Central Avenue and 24th Street.

There is no word yet on whether anyone has been seriously injured.

Responding agencies include the Great Falls Police Department, Great Falls Fire Rescue, and Great Falls Emergency Services.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible as emergency crews work to clear the scene and determine what happened.
