GREAT FALLS -

Wednesday marks Flag Day, commemorating the adoption of the flag of the United States back in 1777.

In Great Falls, the day will be marked with a ceremony at Overlook Park, often referred to as "Flag Hill."

The Great Falls Association of Realtors maintains the flag there, with donations from community members and businesses funding its upkeep and maintenance.

Wednesday's ceremony will feature Montana Attorney General Tim Fox and University of Great Falls president Tony Aretz as guest speakers.

The Montana Air National Guard will perform a fly-over with a C-130 Hercules, and KRTV meteorologist Mike Rawlins will sing the National Anthem.

If you can't make it to the ceremony, KRTV will be live-streaming it on our website starting just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
