William Horn died on Sunday, June 25, at the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge following an extended illness.
According to a press release from the prison, Horn was 57 years old.
Horn was sentenced in Missoula County in 1986 for the crimes of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and theft.
Horn was sentenced to 100 years without parole.
In 2001, he was sentenced in Toole County for assault with a weapon while incarcerated at the Crossroads Correctional Center in Shelby.
Horn was sentenced to eight years on that conviction.
