Foothills Community Christian School celebrated its first homecoming on Thursday with activities in Kiwanis Park.
Each class designed a float made from a shopping cart that followed the barnyard theme to parade around the park on Thursday afternoon.
According to advancement coordinator Kerri Koteskey, the athletic booster club wanted to have a homecoming week after deciding to host a dance.
After the parade, the school held a Powder Puff soccer game for girls in grades 7-12 and a Rough n' Tough volleyball game for boys in grades 7-12.
Miss Kitty's Coffee partnered with Foothills for the afternoon events and stayed open until 5 p.m. to provide warm beverages for students and spectators.
The homecoming festivities continue on Saturday with girl's volleyball against Yellowstone County Homeschool and boy's soccer against Big Sky High School.
