Even though Halloween is next Tuesday, family-friendly events will take place throughout the weekend.
-The Peak is hosting a Halloween Carnival to benefit United Way. The event is Saturday starting at 6 p.m. and will include carnival games, food prizes, and more.
-The Great Falls Ice Rink is having a Halloween Skating Party. Costumes are encouraged but must be safe to skate in. The party is from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Great Falls MSU student government is hosting a Trick or Treat event, which starts at 3 p.m. and is indoors.
-The Downtown Great Falls Association is hosting a Safe Trick-or-Treat downtown starting at 3 p.m.
-Trick or treaters can ride around Malmstrom Air Force Base on the Trick-or-Treat Halloween Hay Ride. The ride will start at 4:40 and runs until 8 p.m. Must have base access to participate.
-Kids Funtastic Fall Festival is a family-friendly indoor event at the Montana Expo Park on Halloween starting at 6 p.m. There will be carnival rides, bounce houses, lazer tag, games, and tons of candy.
-The Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat will have a bounce house, face painting, games, and more. Vineyard Christian Fellowship is hosting the event and doors open at 5 p.m.
- Gore Hill Fire Rescue will open the doors at both fire stations starting at 6 p.m. for kids to trick or treat.
- Set Free Harvest Party:Please leave the blood and gore at the door. 6-9pm Halloween night. Located at 216 9th Street N. Call with any questions 750-5647.
- The University of Providence will host its annual Spook-A-Roo Halloween event. The free and family-friendly event will be on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. and is for children ages 0-12 with chaperones – the entire family is welcome to enjoy the event, as well. While there is no charge for the event, the University of Providence is requesting families to bring canned food to help local schools’ food pantries.
