Great Falls couple giving hope to those in need

Posted: Updated:

(GREAT FALLS) Over the last several years, Shane Klippenes and his family volunteered all over the world but last year they stayed at home to help those in need.

Hopeworx has joined with Faith Center Church and other organizations around town to provide a meal and clothes to about 60 people each week.

They are currently working on putting together a referral list so they can send people to the right organizations to help their needs.

"Find a job, find a place to live, these are all things we have worked with people over the last year. It has been a real honor to be able to help in a small way," Klippenes said.

The group is currently conducting a drive to get donations for winter clothing for people of all ages.

You can drop off donations at Faith Center Church on 4700 10th Avenue South, or you can call Klippenes at 799-9377.

Hopeworx meets every Friday night in the parking lot at Central Avenue and 7th Street from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
