Robin Nicole Harold is facing a felony charge of assault on a minor after she allegedly grabbed a nine-year-old boy by the back of his neck and slammed his head on a car dashboard several times.
On November 9th, officers responded to the Columbus Center on 2nd Avenue North for a disturbance that reportedly happened inside a vehicle.
While driving to the Columbus Center, officers learned the suspect vehicle had left the area.
Court documents state when officers found the vehicle they learned the driver was Harold, and the passenger was a nine-year-old boy.
A police affidavit says when officers spoke to the boy, he told officers he began kicking and hitting Harold when they were in her vehicle because he was upset that she had made fun of him earlier in the day.
Officers talked to several witnesses and one said they saw Harold grab the boy by the back of his neck and slammed his head on the dashboard several times.
They said the boy got out of the vehicle and Harold followed, again grabbing him by the neck and hitting his head on the side of the car several times. She then allegedly threw him into the backseat of the car and hit him.
According to court documents, Harold has convictions in Montana, Washington, Wisconsin, Florida, Indiana, and Idaho; convictions include theft, domestic violence, criminal mischief with a deadly weapon, harassment, assault, possession of stolen property, residential burglary, disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine, partner/family member assault, deceptive practices, theft of identity, and obstructing a peace officer.
Prosecutors requested that bond for Harold be set at $30,000.
