On November 26, 2017 the lights dimmed for a moment as we lost one of the good ones: Weldon Jay Cummins, 76, of Great Falls passed away of natural causes at Peace Hospice.

Born January 14, 1941 in Okemah, OK to Howard and Gladys Wilcox Cummins, Jay joined the U. S. Army after finishing school.

He served proudly from 1958 until 1961.  He became a firefighter, protecting the community of Modesto, CA for twenty years.

Jay loved games, gunsmithing, and woodworking.  He was a mountain man, and a member of the California muzzle loading and shooting groups.  He held several local and state positions in the American Legion.
