NorthWestern Energy has confirmed that a power outage is affecting parts of Great Falls.
We have received numerous reports from people on the east side of Great Falls that they are without power, primarily near 10th Avenue North east of 38th Street.
As of 8:14 p.m., the utility company says that the outage is affecting about 291 customers.

NorthWestern Energy estimates that power will be restored by about 9:15 p.m.
The cause of the outage has not yet been confirmed.
People began posting messages about the outage on the KRTV Facebook page at about 7:30 p.m. Among the messages:
