Joseph Anthony Imbrescia, 87, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
Joseph was born on March 1, 1930 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Giuseppe and Philomena Imbrescia.
He graduated from Monessen High School in 1948. He entered the United States Air Force serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired as a CMSgt.
He received the Meritorious Service Metal, Bronze Star and the Vietnam Service Metal.
Joseph married Evelyn Doreen Bens on June 12, 1954 in Limestone, Maine. Together they had five children.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking and gardening. Joseph was also the ultimate Pittsburgh sports fan.
Joseph was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus.
Joseph is survived by his wife Doreen; children Wayne (Tina) Imbrescia, Anita (Wayne) Hunter, Randy (Joy) Imbrescia, Brian Imbrescia, and Laurie Vosberg; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
